MnDOT to begin $32.8 million Highway 53 expansion

The Minnesota Department of Transportation plans to start construction in December on a $32.8 million expansion of Highway 53, the final leg of a multi-phase project designed to improve safety and traffic flow on a 22-mile stretch between Virginia and Cook.
